Offering a NEW ‘Gold Standard’ in Baby Massage and Baby Yoga Training
Hands on Babies have been training people to be Baby Massage and Baby Yoga instructors for the last 12 years, working with a wide range of individuals, local authorities, NHS trusts and national charities. We understand that it is difficult to choose your training provider.
Who to Trust for your training is a Major Decision, it will form the Foundation for all of your future Baby Massage and Baby Yoga Classes
Hands on Babies are very aware that as this sector is effectively non-regulated it is very easy for anyone to set themselves up as a training provider without having to reach any particular professional standards, minimum depth of curriculum or consistency of training.
Over the years we have trained many people who have trained with other providers and their training experience has been so lacking that they have ultimately come to us. These are the very real problems that we face in a non-regulated sector.
So to give our students confidence and faith in what Hands on Babies offers we strive to achieve the highest possible independent third party approval for our courses, both in terms of the health sector, the complimentary therapy sector and now for the first time the Level 2 OfQual Regulated (RQF) courses that are Government Approved.
The Royal College of Midwives
In 2012 Hands on Babies was one of the first organisations to receive accreditation for both our Baby Massage and Baby Yoga courses from the world renowned Royal College of Midwives. We have maintained our relationship with the RCM since that time. Our curriculum goes through a tri-annual cycle of Accreditation with the RCM, with the next review due in May 2021.
The Complementary Therapists Association (CThA)
The Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) is the leading professional organisation representing over 9000 complementary therapists in the UK and Ireland. An additional advantage is that the CThA assessors have rated the Hands on Babies instructor training course as worth 25 post-graduate qualification credits for all students continuing their professional development.
Independent Professional Therapists International
Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI) is a genuinely independent association formed to serve the needs of alternative and complementary therapists, health and fitness therapists and aestheticians throughout Great Britain. The I.P.T.I provides a meeting ground for all therapists who, each in their several ways, have as a common aim, the well being of others. It seeks to overcome the barriers which have arisen on our diverse profession and to bring together therapists working throughout the world
